Glasser, aka Cameron Mesirow, is a critically acclaimed composer and performer. Her third full-length album crux was released on October 6th, 2023 on One Little Independent Records. The record came after a decade-long hiatus following her first two albums Ring (2010) and Interiors (2013), both released on True Panther Sounds, as well as the Tremel EP (2010) with Young records. Her music is a cinematic blend of orchestral, electronic and folk instrumentation with Cameron’s lilting voice at the center. She has played globally, including Coachella, Primavera Sound, MoMA, Walker Art Center, and supported acts such as the xx and Duran Duran. She has collaborated on remix with Fever Ray, Jamie xx and John Talabot, to name a few.
In addition to recording and performing as Glasser, Cameron created AUERGLASS, a two-player pump organ in collaboration with the artist Tauba Auerbach. The title is a portmanteau of their names “Auerbach + Glasser”. The piece was debuted at Deitch Projects in NY in 2009 and performed again at SF Moma in 2021-22.
