Dries Van Noten

SPRING SUMMER 2026

A straightforward exploration of vibrancy, ease and joy. Images conceived in collaboration with artist Ann Vendi.

Dries Van Noten unveils a series of images conceived in collaboration with artist Ann Vendi. Known for her bold graphic language, she brings a distinct visual dimension to the season, merging fashion with a vivid, hypnotic universe.

Originally from Ukraine and based in Berlin, Ann Vendi uses a painterly sensibility to explore rhythm, contrast, and optical play, transforming garments and accessories into living canvases. The visuals pair spirals, polka dots, and bold color blocking in red, black, white, and vibrant pastels, picking up on the collection's themes. Silhouettes are sculptural and fluid, interacting with graphic backdrops that blur body and environment; jewelry, shoes, and bags are shown as standalone pieces.

Artworks will be exhibited at Mercer (New York) and La Cienega (Los Angeles), and in the window displays at Quais Malaquais (Paris) and Aoyama (Tokyo).

"My first idea for this collection was to convey a sense of ease and optimism.

Watching the sunset on the beach, observing surfers in the waves, I was struck by how elegant the silhouette of a wetsuit is.

A moment both simple and grand: the sky filled with colour, shapes that appear, contrasts of a stiff board against the delicate ruffles of foaming waters, and the shimmer of sun on them. The freedom of cruising on the waves, feeling the breeze and winds of the sea: a dance with nature.

A celebration of summer and the primal energy of a ray of sun. The tranquillity of the simple things.
"
